New Apprentices Join the Team 2015

17 September 2015

Bri-Stor Systems have recruited 6 new apprentices from the local Staffordshire area. The school leavers joined Bri-Stor Systems apprentice scheme a couple of weeks ago after responding to local advertisements and social media campaigns and have been undergoing inductions ready to start their NVQ Level 3 in Auto Electrical & Mobile Electrical Installation.

The scheme will involve time working in a range of areas of the businesses both office based as well as time in the factory and assembly areas. This working time will be combined with day release for study at college. Each of the 6 apprentices will be allocated a mentor within the Bri-Stor businesses to offer them support in their new apprenticeships.

Rob Bunyan, Bri-Stor Manager & Apprentice Mentor commented of the scheme, “At Bri-Stor Systems, we have a history of developing our workforce through the apprenticeship scheme to maintain our pipeline of engineering talent.

An Apprenticeship is undeniably a great way for people to enter the workforce, offering them the chance to develop vital skills which will help them throughout their career, as well as providing them with a paying job at a time when opportunities can be scarce. One of the biggest opportunities Apprenticeships offer is the chance to build a dedicated, loyal workforce.

Offering Apprenticeships is a good way of guaranteeing that our company builds a workforce equipped with the skills needed for the future, allowing our business to grow and develop.
