Day 1 and 2 sees 141 Miles completed of the 400 mile total

Martin Smith Day 1

Day 1 – 72 Miles Accomplished
Bad weather was not the ideal riding conditions to begin this huge challenge and due to this Martin and the team had to resume to their own navigation issues as a result of water logged routes. Not to deter them though, day 1 complete, 72 miles down and 1000’s of calories burnt has resulted in a massive £13,000 donation total for Help for Heroes. Unbelievably, Formula 1 legend Alan Prost is going to be joining the team this week for 30 miles in support of this event.

Day 2 – Over 1000 Metres of hill climbing
Today saw the team ride 69 miles through central France to Digoin. Weather was not on their side again which made for a difficult journey, especially having to endure 1000 metres of hill climbs. Not to dampen spirits though, the team are in for a treat as they have the honour of a live interview with French footballer Patrick Viera tomorrow. Everyone at The Bri-Stor Group are looking forward to the next blog from Martin.
