With almost 30 years working in the Bri-Stor Group, Neil Prescott has seen the business from every perspective. It’s with this unique insight that Neil leads the prototype team and works closely with engineering colleagues to deliver the industry’s most advanced van conversion systems. Neil comments on his stellar career in the Group and how this vast experience brings significant advantages to the customer experience.
“I started out my career in 1992 as a welder in Alpha Manufacturing and progressed through a variety of roles until I became Production Manager. There’s no question, seeing the business from a range of perspectives has really helped me bring value to the role I’m in today as Prototype Manager. By understanding the entire design and manufacturing process, these insights enable me to maximise efficiencies at every stage in production, ultimately bringing high levels of value to the customer.”
With every van conversion requiring a bespoke solution, Neil and the prototype team are a critical link between Bri-Stor Systems and the customer, as Neil explains: “we’re responsible for developing the first vehicle build for the customer to sign-off so developing a thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements is absolutely critical. That said, most customers turn to Bri-Stor Systems because of our reputation and wealth of expertise so collaboration is a driving factor in most vehicle conversions. As we’ve seen with TRIM-IT and other highly bespoke conversions, we are experts at thinking outside the box and using our world-class engineering and design capability to far exceed customer expectations.”
