Bri-Stor Systems will be offering the chance to experience a TRIM-IT mobile barbershop first-hand with free haircuts on the stand
The Commercial Vehicle show is the largest road freight transport, distribution and logistics event in Britain, and Staffordshire based van conversion specialists, Bri-Stor Systems, is proud to be supporting the event. Featuring earlier this year on Channel 4’s ‘The Money Maker’, the TRIM-IT mobile barbershop conversion will be taking centre stage of the Bri-Stor Systems stand, alongside Alan Day’s first fully electric VW mobile service vehicle.
Since October 2020, Bri-Stor Systems has worked closely with the start-up company TRIM-IT, to help design and develop a luxury, state-of-the-art mobile barbershop. This Citroen Relay has been fully kitted out to include everything a barber needs on the road, including casual seating for waiting clients, backlit wall features and an integrated on-board energy centre. To give show visitors the chance to experience this unique conversion for themselves, free haircuts are available on the stand. Bri-Stor Systems has a strong track record of working with hundreds of successful small businesses and start-ups each year as Simon Webb, Managing Director of Bri-Stor Systems, explains: “We love the energy and passion that comes with working with owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs, typically we are working directly with the van user to design and fit a bespoke van racking solution.
“Whether it’s a plumber, joiner, construction or valeting firm, whatever the nature of the business, we take great pride in really understanding the needs of the van user and how this translates into workspace and storage. It’s very common that an owner-managed business customer will have previous experience of using a works van, so our engineering team is able to extract that knowledge and develop the ultimate van conversion solution.”
Seeking out Bri-Stor Systems specialist team to converting 76 vans into mobile barbershops, TRIM-IT has taken full advantage of Bri-Stor System’s one-stop conversion service offering by also utilising its in-house graphics department, Hex Signs and Graphics.
Being heavily involved in show preparations, Hex will this year be displaying its extensive capability. Responsible for the stand’s graphics and vehicle design and print, Hex will also be demonstrating vehicle wrapping live on the stand.
Also featuring on the stand is the Alan Day first fully electric VW mobile service vehicle. Kitted out with Bri-Stor Systems’ racking and wrapped in striking livery designed by Hex, this vehicle truly displays the company’s innovation and skill. This impressive conversion includes a standalone electrical system, which can be recharged through a shoreline hook up. Also included in this van is a 110v compressor which incorporates a quiet mode, allowing for late night and early working hours without creating a disturbance.
