The Bri-Stor Group consists of Bri-Stor Systems Ltd, Alpha Manufacturing Ltd & Atlas Coatings Ltd and we are based in Hixon, Staffordshire. We are a privately owned business employing approx 400 people across the group, making us one of the largest employers in the region.


The Group has experienced significant growth and success over the last few years and with a strong order book and forecast we are looking to strengthen our Operations Team with the recruitment of a Warehouse/Stock Control Manager

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager this role will be responsible for the management and control of materials and stock in line with the order book and production plan.


Key Accountabilities


  • Co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the Stores team to meet the production targets.
  • Review Stores picking methods for efficiency and suggest and implement improvements.
  • Ensure Stores Team carry out perpetual stock checks.
  • Ensure team members comply with all stock, MRP systems and procedures.
  • Managing Goods Receiving Teams.
  • Control costs/budgets in line with the annual operating plan.
  • Direct supervision of Group Leaders.
  • Meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Adherence to and execution of company health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Effective housekeeping.
  • Identification of ongoing training and development requirements for employees.
  • Develop, plan, and implement continuous improvements in line with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Suitable candidates will be able to exhibit the following:-
  • Experience of managing a fast paced, multi-product stores/warehouse environment.
  • The ability to communicate both orally and written to any level of staff.
  • Good planning skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team player.
  • Experience of lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, SMED etc.
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in people management.
